Updates for CCNA and CompTIA exams

Pass4sure is keeping on its progress.

Today you will find that there are three exams that have been updated, the exam numbers of which are 640-816,640-802 and sy0-201.

Cisco certification 640-816 ICND2 (Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part2) is one of the two exams for the CCNA certification. The answer to Question 4 of Topic 1 now is updated to E.

To get certified as a CCNA, you can take Exam 640-802 only, which covers the content of 640-822 ICND1 and 640-816 ICND2. Today, new updates for 640-802 are available. The descriptions of Option A, B and C to Question 43 of Topic 1 are modified.

SY0-201 is the required exam for CompTIA Certified Security+ certification. The simulation B for SY0-201 has been updated: the answer to Question 3 is changed to B.

Updates for BSCI 642-901

The Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks, also known as BSCI 642-901, has been updated.

There are mainly two topics involved in this update, which are Topic1 and Topic 2.

Changes are made to the questions, options and notes.

It is easy to find that, in order to give Cisco certification candidates a better instruction, the notes concerned are changed in a great number. Topic1 has 53 questions to modified and Topic 2 has 37, so we can say that almost all the notes have been adjusted.

We hope that all exam takers will feel all right with these adjustments when preparing for the Cisco exams.

Cisco Career Certification Series â…¤:Architect

Cisco Career Certification Series â…£:Expert level

Certifications for expert level are CCDE (Cisco Certified Design Expert) and CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert). There are 6 paths for CCIE: Routing & Switching, Network Security, Service Provider, Storage Networking, Voice, and Wireless.

CCDE validates individual’s ability to develop solutions which address planning, design, integration, optimization, operations, security and ongoing support focused at the infrastructure level for customer networks. There is no formal prerequisite for CCDE, but candidate is expected to have a thorough understanding of the topics and a minimum of 7 years job experience. To achieve CCDE certification, candidate has to pass the 352-001 written exam and practical exam. CCDE is required to recertify by passing a recertification exam every 2 years.

CCIE Routing & Switching confirms one’s ability to plan, operate and troubleshoot complex, converged network infrastructure. Individual has to pass a 350-001 written exam covering Routing and Switching networking theory related to topics such as IP, IP routing, non-IP desktop protocols, bridging and switch-related technologies, and includes some equipment commands and lab exam.

CCIE Security certifies one’s expertise with specific security protocols, components, IP and IP routing. To achieve the CCIE Security certification, one has to pass 350-018 written exam covering areas such as security protocols, operating systems, application protocols, security technologies, and Cisco security applications and lab exam.

CCIE Service Provider shows individual’s knowledge and skill for building an extensible service provider infrastructure to deliver rich managed services. To get this certification, candidate has to pass 350-029 written exam covering concepts and equipment commands related to packet-based networking infrastructure and lab exam. To recertify this certification, candidate has to take CCIE SP 350-029 written exam.

CCIE Storage Networking confirms individual’s exert-level knowledge of intelligent storage solution using multiple transport options over long distances. One must pass 350-040 written exam which covers storage networking concepts, features, design, applications, management and device operations, and lab exam.

CCIE Voice certifies one’s expert-level knowledge of Voice-over-IP solutions in an enterprise environment. Candidate has to pass 350-030 written exam covering those technologies and applications that comprise a Cisco Enterprise VoIP solution and lab exam to achieve this certification.

CCIE Wireless certification certifies one’s skills to demonstrate broad theoretical knowledge of wireless networking and a solid understanding of wireless local area networking (WLAN) technologies from Cisco, the market leader in WLAN technology. To get this certification, candidate has to pass 350-050 written exam covering concepts and equipment commands and lab exam.

There is no prerequisite for CCIE certifications, but an in- depth understanding of the topics and 3-5 years’ job experiences are expected. The written exam score is only valid for 180 days. That means after getting the notice of passing the written exam, candidate has to take lab exam within 180 days.

Cisco Career Certification Series â… : Entry Level Certification
