 How to get a CCNA?

  1. To pass the 640-802 exam
  2. To pass both the 640-822 ICND1 and 640-816 ICND2 exams.

Passing the 640-822 ICND1 only, you can get aCCENT  certification ( the “Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician”).

Certification validity

CCNA certifications are valid for three years. That is to say, you will have to recertify after three from the acquirement of a CCNA certification, in order to assure you keep up with new technologies. However, if you get a higher level Cisco certification within three years, the validity term of CCNA will be renewed automatically.
